Harvey practices in the area of general civil litigation, including commercial litigation, real property litigation, probate and trust litigation, personal injury/wrongful death and products liability.  As the son of two Florida Gator alumni, a Native Floridian, and a double Gator himself, Nick is passionate about providing high quality legal services to the Gainesville community and the North Central Florida area.  Nick was raised in Boca Raton, Florida where he attended Spanish River High School and graduated with honors before receiving a full academic scholarship to study at the University of Florida.

In 2005, Nick graduated cum laude from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida with a degree in economics and continued his studies at the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  In May 2008, Nick received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, and immediately began working for the Gainesville firm of Siegel & Hughes, P.A., now Siegel Hughes & Ross.

During his undergraduate studies Nick worked alongside several leaders in the community as an employee of Ed Baur Real Estate Management and the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville.  As a law student, Nick continued to gain experience in the Gainesville Community while clerking for the law firm of Fisher, Sechrest, Butts & Warner, P.A. and interning at the State Attorney’s office for the Eighth Judicial Circuit.  During these employment and internship experiences, Nick gained invaluable experience researching, drafting, and arguing both civil and criminal issues.

Nick’s prior work experience includes an internship with the Honorable Chief Judge David M. Gersten of the Third District Court of Appeal in Miami, Florida.  Under Chief Judge Gersten’s tutelage, Nick had the opportunity to gain insight into the workings of the judicial system.  During his time in Miami, Nick also excelled in a Trial Advocacy class taught by the Chief Judge at the St. Thomas University School of Law.

For seven years, Nick practiced law at the Gainesville firm of Siegel Hughes & Ross before joining Ossi, Withers & Harrison, P.A., which has recently become Ossi Withers, P.A. Nick was admitted to the Florida Bar in October, 2008. Nick is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.

Nick is a member of James C. Adkins, Jr. Inns of Court, a board member for the Young Lawyers Division of the Eighth Judicial Bar Circuit Association, and a member of the Gainesville Quarterback Club. When Nick is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Cindi, and son, Ethan, his family and friends, playing guitar, attending Gator sporting events, traveling, snowboarding, playing hockey, and cooking.
